i think abit hard for FJ......even Versace has to retrench!!
I think they are facing big competition from local ppl like CK...(also carry bags collection).
Every sat I will walk pass CK, then FJ at Bugis Junction......u can see numbers in CK but not FJ's Guess store

FJ should shut down their apparel business.... not that they have the best fashion sense nor such an outstanding international branding of their "Raoul", who outside of a small population in singapore knows of this name? ... yet their expensive rental retail shops are prob killing them...

You may want to note that Arisaig is reducing their stake in the company.
It's all about "how much you made when you were right" & "how little you lost when you were wrong"

F J Benjamin Holdings announced on Thursday net profit for the second quarter ended Dec 31, 2009 was $1.7 million, up from $611,000 for the same period a year ago because of higher other income and lower costs.
Its Q2 revenue fell 7 per cent to $79 million, year-on-year.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at 0.3 cents compared to 0.11 cents for the corresponding period the year before.
