F J Benjamin posts $1.7 mln Q2 FY2010 profit

F J Benjamin Holdings announced on Thursday net profit for the second quarter ended Dec 31, 2009 was $1.7 million, up from $611,000 for the same period a year ago because of higher other income and lower costs.
Its Q2 revenue fell 7 per cent to $79 million, year-on-year.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at 0.3 cents compared to 0.11 cents for the corresponding period the year before.
