Not vested. From Kim Eng:-

Best proxy to the luxury property market

We believe that Wing Tai is one of the best plays on the improving luxury property market. Reiterating our BUY recommendation with a target price of $2.20, pegged at a 10%-discount to its FY10 RNAV of $2.45.
We think that as the volume of high-end property transactions in the market increases, there is scope for its discount to RNAV to narrow.

From Kim Eng Securities.

Wing Tai Holdings Ltd - Best exposure to luxury properties (BUY, $1.83 - TP $2.46, WTHS.SI / WINGT SP, Property)

Wing Tai has officially launched the 147-unit L’VIV at Newton Road over the weekend, and about 50% of the units have been snapped up at an ASP of about $2,000 psf. Wing Tai still has an unsold landbank of about 850,000 sq ft in attributable GFA in the high-end segment. Due to its low breakeven costs, we estimate that when fully-sold, these projects can generate nearly $740m in net profits (or 93 cts/sh). Maintain BUY with a target price of $2.46, pegged at a 10%-discount to RNAV.

I'm really surprised that current govt restrictions has no impact on the property developers.

The WingTai chart is nice. I learnt something today on consolidation and covering of gaps.

Initially when i look at the gap down, i was apprehensive and wonder whether that's something negative to avoid. but apparently if there's a good story and with strong wind behind your sails - the counter will still fly!!

Cheers!

but probably there's a higher chance of gaps being covered for
1) fundamentally good stocks
2) a positive catalysts (eg. property launches or perceived as luxurious developer)
3) most importantly when market in an uptrend

Wing Tai Holdings ST: the RSI is overbought <WTHS.SI>

Click here to see our chart:
http://www.tradingcentral.com/chart/WIN ... 022816.gif

1.66 is our pivot point.

Our preference: the upside prevails as long as 1.66 is support.

Alternative scenario: below 1.66, expect 1.59 and 1.55.

Comment: the RSI is trading above 70. This could mean that either the stock is in a lasting uptrend or just overbought and that therefore a correction could shape (look for bearish divergence in this case).

The MACD is positive and above its signal line. The configuration is positive. Moreover, the stock is above its 20 and 50 day MA (standing respectively at 1.68 and 1.7).

Supports and resistances: 1.92 *1.88 **1.84 1.75 last 1.69 1.66 **1.59 *
