K and iam802 , you've nailed it on the head.
Jackson performed at strip tease joints in Chicago at around the age of 5. He knew what a 'teaser' was and this was evident in some of his dance routines. So it isn't just a woman's ability.

I have just bought the book "The Michael Jackson Tapes' by Rabbi Shumley Boteach.
In it, Jackson disclosed what his father did to him.
For a terribly wounded boy, he had succeeded far beyond dreams :
"He was rough, the way he would beat you, you know, was hard," Jackson said. "He would make you strip nude first. He would oil you down. It would be a whole ritual. He would oil you down so when the flip of an ironing cord hit you, you know, and, it was just like me dying, and you had whips all over your face, your back, everywhere. And I always hear my mother like, 'No, Joe, you're gonna kill him. You're gonna kill him. No.' And I would just give up, like there was nothing I could do. And I hated him for it. Hated him."

And to think that he could write such sweet ballads:-

An exhibition of Jackson's personal belongings will also open to the public today.
Michael Jackson, The Official Exhibition is at the O2 Bubble - just yards from where the singer announced his ill-fated comeback concerts.
Costumes the singer would have worn during the concerts are included in the exhibition, curated by the Los Angeles-based Grammy Museum

This exhibition will go to China, 6 city stops. The first is Guangzhou, at the end of Jan 2010.
I think it will be around CNY. I gonna be going somewhere to one of these stops  .

recipe 3 : Start with Yourself. Believe in Yourself . Be True to yourself.

It takes a lot to get to the stage:-
It's only the beginning

(Side Note : IMHO, it's not the time to enter the market yet. Crotch and wait for that magical moment. Recap the thread "Averaging Up Your Winning Positions". However, take note of my banner.
I'm leaving the house to watch "This Is It" at Lido Complex. It's only $6 with a Visa card)

Hi SanSan :D :D
Oh, I luv it. I'll be watching it again on Saturday, overseas.

In Michael's words, it's an adventure, he would take you to something you would not have experienced before.
It's escapism of the highest order.
I saw and heard for myself what he said he was in his autobiography "MoonWalk" and the biographical work "The Michael Jackson Tapes" and "Taped conversations with Brett Ratner"(Youtube).

Do note:-
(a) don't leave when the credits come up. There is a surprise after the credits. That's when poignancy hit and everyone realised that he was gone forever.
(b) I really like his duet with Judith Hill who also sung at his memorial. Oh boy, he flirted so badly with her and she was too star-struck to react.
Here's an interview with the singer :-
Hill on Jackson
(c) I luv the 3D stuff. They are magnificent, especially Smooth Criminal, Jam and They Don't Really Care about Us. You can see the Lewis Hines-inspired 3D stuff. When I saw it, I realized that his fascination with children and the social cause he had always wanted his music to embrace. was true. I'll write abt this another time.

Lastly, the audience were very appreciative. Many clapped at the end of each number. A couple in my row turned up in identical Billie Jean costumes, complete with shimmering coat-bands on black vests. I think you will see more MJ die-hard fans on Saturday.

I like the closing moments of the movie and mass prayer for MJ's success. Unknowingly, you might run into several emotional moments, e.g. when the Director made prior arrangement for the elevator to be tested in the presence of MJ (the Director kept saying "for safety reasons"), somewhat you wished that he would be around to sing I'll be There ...

At the end of which, I felt that the footage was tailored towards <The Makings>, and subsequently re-edited for obvious commercial reasons. Nonetheless, it was a good "concert" with quality steros around you. Wonder why Moonwalk wasn't there?

Seeing MJ jammed with the lead guitarist Orianthi was so cool. This pretty babe played electrifying riffs in Beat It - would rip your seat apart! MJ said to her "It is time for you to shine & take your time" ...

Recently, I did the "fist-crunch-release" action with my consultant, everytime he walked past my office. Favourably american style - the hand gesture was featured in the movie as well. Be observant!

Notice the large metal statute of the Roman god, Mercury on the grounds of NeverLand.

2/3 through the movie, I secretly wished for You are Not Alone. If only MJ could do this remix — but with the 3D modern twist in a new production - we could glimpse at the architecture of ancient Rome and rich embellishment of the studio stage itself! The Earth Song and Thriller casts were realistic and improvised with explosive dance beats ...
