Saw this on AsiaOne,

==
1 man, 152 board seats

AsiaOne

by Lee Shu Shyan, Assistant Money Editor

THE disclosure that DBS Group Holdings independent director Christopher Cheng Wai Chee (above) is a director of 152 companies has left some investors uneasy.

It has also highlighted the way some business people here accumulate large numbers of board seats, raising the fear that they are spreading themselves too thin to carry out their duties effectively.

Hong Kong-based Mr Cheng is the chairman of Hong Kong-listed USI Holdings, a unit of Singapore-listed Wing Tai Holdings. He is the brother of Wing Tai chairman Cheng Wai Keung and its deputy chairman Edmund Cheng.

So, if he works non stop every day, he will dedicate 2.4 days to every company :)

Nothing new here. It happens elsewhere as well.

I do know of a certain businessman across the border with 192 board seats. Same question has been raised before.
1. Always wait for the setup. NO SETUP; NO TRADE

2. The trend will END but I don't know WHEN.

Apprciate your comments.
I just do not understand how unfriendly it can be referring to an article writen by a third party over issues that we can ponder or discuss on ?
After all it is primarily an investment discussion forum.
Rightly or wrongly, everyone is entitled to their opinions and they are free to critise or support some of the points raised.

Hi financecaptain,

Yes, we do not have any problems with differing views in the forum. In fact, we do encourage them as a means to check on our perception of things.

However, we would like all exchanges between fellow members, to be as friendly as possible.

Thanks and take care,
Winston

There is no storm here. I take umbrage with the post and not the 'poster'. I juz wonder why a 'URLlink' was not given. A link will facilitate easy reading as one can pick up all the responses to that blog entry. Responses to the hogwash is given in that blog.
