Macquarie published a research report covering POP MART (09992.HK) which had recently launched the well-received Valentine's Day limited edition blind box series, "Twinkle Twinkle - Crush on You", with the first batch selling out swiftly.

Labubu maker Pop Mart sets up London hub for European push

The company will open 27 new stores in Europe in the coming year

The company will open 27 new stores in Europe in the coming year, including as many as seven in the UK.

Europe accounted for less than 3.4 per cent of the Beijing-based toymaker’s revenue in the first half of 2025, compared with 16.3 per cent from the Americas.

The company operated 18 physical stores in Europe as at mid-2025 and has since opened at least eight new outlets across the continent, in cities including Copenhagen and Rome.

Shares of Pop Mart have dropped more than 30 per cent from their August peak.

POP MART Founder: Labubu's Global Sales Top 100M Units Last Yr

POP MART (09992.HK) founder and CEO Wang Ning, disclosed at the company's annual meeting that the company had over 10,000 global employee partners last year, with more than 100 million registered members, and Labubu's annual sales exceeded 100 million units, Shanghai Securities News reported.

The total sales of all categories and all IP products surpassed 400 million units.

POP MART's business covers over 100 countries and regions, with more than 700 global stores, six major supply chain bases, and empowered over 200,000 jobs.
