Nvidia reported better-than-expected earnings and revenue on Wednesday, and said sales growth this quarter will remain above 50%, signaling to Wall Street that demand for artificial intelligence infrastructure shows no sign of fading.

The company’s 2026 second quarter results confirmed that Nvidia’s data center business remains entrenched in the global AI buildout.

Nvidia finance chief Colette Kress told analysts on an earnings call that the company expects between $3 and $4 trillion in AI infrastructure spending by the end of the decade.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said there’s a real possibility the company brings its advanced Blackwell processor to China as he urges the U.S. government to open up access for American chipmakers.

We just have to keep advocating the importance of American tech companies to be able to lead and win the AI race, and help make the American tech stack the global standard.

The comments come after Nvidia on Wednesday reported second-quarter year-over-year revenue growth of 56% to $54 billion, despite not selling a single H20 chip to China during the quarter.

<Research>Citi Sets NVIDIA (NVDA.US) TP at US$190; Rating Buy

NVIDIA (NVDA.US) reported revenue of US$46.7 billion and non-GAAP EPS of US$1.04 for the second fiscal quarter ending in July, both topping expectations, Citi said in a research report.

NVIDIA anticipated revenue of US$54 billion for the third fiscal quarter ending in October, surpassing forecasts, and has no plans to ship H20 chips to China in the near future.

The company expected its non-GAAP profit margin to reach approximately 75% by the end of this year.

The broker set a target price of US$190 for NVIDIA, with a Buy rating.
