5% YoY in 3Q, marking
four consecutive quarters of growth, according to a report from Canalys.
Among them, Samsung's smartphone shipments accounted for
18% of the global market, narrowly surpassing Apple (AAPL.US) to claim the top spot.
Apple's market share reached 18%, ranking second.
XIAOMI-W (01810.HK) maintained its position as the third leading smartphone manufacturer with a 14% market share.
