Benefits of Pets
The benefits of canine companionship has found that owning a dog can cause some measurable physical changes in your body as well, such as:
1. raising serotonin and dopamine, which can help with relaxation, as well as oxytocin, the "love" hormone,
lowering triglycerides and cholesterol, and,
2. helping to lower your blood pressure.
So, if you don't have a dog in your life now, maybe it's time to visit your local shelter and think about adopting one.
