we singapore is rightfully termed as a small red dot...quite insignificant to the world's economic eco system really..to think we matter that much is to over emphasize our ego.
better stay friends with everyone and be the inconspicuous neighbour who stays out of the limelight but quietly accumulate wealth and buy that nassim hill mansion without inviting too much attention...
no one likes loud and obnoxious neighbours...we have not been very friendly in our last 4 decades as a neighbour. no one owes us anything...not even water...
last time, i hear friends, saying...should china decide to spit altogether on us, we would be relegated to becoming the next atlantis...the lost tribe
