It was my childhood dream then to own arrowanas. But now that I am older, decided not to as it is not a family-oriented fish since it feeds on live fishes, frogs etc.

A real shame to see people actually hunting them! Here even the fisherman never touch them and its legally protected though there is no need.
A lot of Divers come to Maldives to swim with these whale sharks!
Very graceful creatures and here there are a lot, and always seen in some rich plankton areas. You can even snorkel with them and touch them. They don't seem to mind a few humans around them.Ali
