US - Market Direction 01 (May 08 - Jul 08)

if it breaks that support line in March 08, I think we have to look at July 06, to find the next support. (very far far away)

Maybe, under such circumstances, MM reminder is impt.

Just stay by the side and wait for major events to happen.
1. Always wait for the setup. NO SETUP; NO TRADE

2. The trend will END but I don't know WHEN.

and not forgetting that market goes up, we can make money, market goes down, only the smart people will make money and when market goes sideways, only the best of the breed can make money...

only when market stays exactly motionless for an extended period, that no money can be made...

the next support...fibo supprt 1296...but this one...action only lah... the key was 61.8% at 1325... early early went to eat seafood at Hong Kong lantau island...(to borrow GR's phrase  )

Well, in Theirry Henry, you can short straddle / short strangle when prices are within a range? Assuming low volatility lah haha.

Anyway, the word is actually: 戆 (simple, stupid) (http://www.zdic.net/zd/zi/ZdicE6Zdic88Zdic86.htm)
As in the canto serial: 戆夫成龙

Pronunced: gang4.

So, it should be 戆呆

GR : u are absolutely right.... the only snag is this...

when market stays almost motionless for extended period, the IV tanks...and along with it...the option premiums...maybe collect 50cents for writing the option strategy but yet put up a proportionately large margin requirement AND assume unlimited losses for these 2 strats... bo hwa....不划算

ok...thanks for the word....gang4... this one i can relate....GANG4 发财.... 吃糊,大三元 !!!

DOW hitting lowest point of 11,740 since the surface of the subprime issue, with DOW transportation broke thru 5000 support. If there is gg to be any hope of a rebound, it has to start either today or latest tomorrow.
