Trading has already reached more than 140M now with only 20 mins into trading!!

Is this the norm in Quadruple Witching day?

Think it's still quite full today. Look at 2 nights ago - already show effects; tonight relapse. :D

just now...i take out and dusted my telescope...i checked the planets...they are a little misaligned, unusual for this time of the year.... did u see that venus (next to the moon) was a little brighter tonight....that's bcos it steered off its orbit and came closer to earth....

as a result...the sun spot activities were heightened....and that caused some flux to our earth's magnetic field...which exacerbated the human emotion, namely fear.....

hence, the sell off...i wish i could have seen this coming earlier... i'd join the herd and cull the market...

A Brief Intraday US Mkt Summary - 345am +8 GMT Sat 21Jun

SP500
a key support at 1325 has been broken....no good for bulls

DJI
the question is where is the bottom?

Nazdaq Composite
a fibo support at ~2400 remains to be convincingly over-run.
it has to go below 2388, to show a continuation of the recent downtrend....

VIX
has broken up from a long term resistance line...but this is the first attempt..there's always a chance for it to return to test it as a support subsequently

XLE
the bearish engulfing turned out to be a pretty accurate pattern, as it is now in -ve territory. however, it has not yet rubbed shoulders with an immediate support...

((edited at 354am))

my mistake....XLE has dropped and challenged the support...it is now pretty much sitting at support...

Does not look too good...

If quadruple witching today does not save the day, the only hope left is Window Dressing next week.

But didn't they tell us never to live on "Hope" ? :P

Let's see whether those short ratios are still so high after today.

If they are still that high, those guys must be very convinced of their position as they are not taking good profits..

Conspiracy theory: Maybe they are trying to engineer a crash, perhaps thru releasing some bad news later.

P/S Was it just two days ago that the Royal Bank of Scotland, was calling for the end of the world, without providing any substantiating evidence? Wanna bet whether they were long or short the market? :P
