Hi, welcome.

Stock screening - well, you need to decide what you want to screen for. Technical signals, financial data/valuations, whatever. Then the rest is simply selecting the criteria in the screener. As for what screens are better - you'll have to work that one out because different people will look for different things.

Managing leverage - can't give much advice here as I'm not using much of it, but if you're new to trading, I'd advise against using leverage.

Btw thanks grandrake. I was actually thinking of starting with heavily traded stocks of the day then work from there. I also want to nail down risk management first coz of the shorter time period involved in trading and yes leverage.

never intro myself properly too - me was in investment wilderness for last 5 years thinking i am invincible based on intestinal-feel of the market + strictly FA/value investing (bull run mah, who loses $ anyway in those times). but in the end, i am slaughtered like a crying pig !! hahaha!!

recently picked up the pieces and re-read many of my investment books - market timing simply a must - Oneil is right!! MM has been selfless in imparting his CANSLIM knowledge which i am very, very grateful of. Now patience is the key to implement the new strategy. feel reborn but has been reminding myself not to count the chicks before the hen+rooster mate!!

another 30 years of investment journey which i am looking foward to!!
