now that durians are almost out of season, i was getting bored again....

this evening, i was casually shopping for chips at a supermart, when a familiar smell led me to my next favourite fruit...

chempedak

and for the first time, they were described as "durian chempedak"... they were really aromatic

i've decided to call them Prince of Fruit....

this was one of 3 princes, i bought... does look a little like durians hor? (or is it signs of withdrawal syndrome)

I thought in Thailand, is is now 24/7, 12 months of the year ...

Ha Ha. the Lord Of Lew Lian has risen from his hibernation ...

thai durians indeed is 365/24/7...but cannot be eaten one... they are unnaturally cultivated...injected with "silicon" to enlarge their sizes... the meat..very plastic... no texture... too hard... no taste as well.... sometimes, they dont even have that aroma about them...

cannot pass...seriously...

this durian was harvested from east malaysia....

but so reddish....scary man

there was a remark by the photographer...which i thought had a metaphorical fouler stench
