very good advice...
Let this serve as a good reminder to all of us. Before we give the simple excuse to wriggle our way out of a situation, think. Think hard. Think different. Then response.it's normal and habitual for us to settle into our comfort zones... hence we see older folks as being æ»ç‰ˆç‰ˆ.. one day, as we get old, the young ones will oso see us as such, unless, we keep up with newer and more open thoughts...we evolve..it's natural...
as i start communicating with young people, the late teens and early twenties, i can sense a mark difference in their general attitude towards life and social skills, as say, compared to my days...and i'm sure, my parents would have felt the same about my generation when we were the young ones...
so, i conclude, the older people should not overly impose their ideas too obtusely onto the younger people... they wont understand and probably wont accept either...
but we change, bcos our world is in a constant flux... of cos, some core principals should be maintained...but for the less critical issues, let's learn to grow with the times...or face being "outdated" and become æ»ç‰ˆç‰ˆ
