Numb from Miami Vice probably would rank very high on my list of fav songs

Maybe it's the fast boats, fast cars, fast women etc in Miami Vice, that made me like this song :P

The song is actually from "The Wall" album by Pink Floyd

Maybe he was listening to his dad's song above :P

Son of Pink Floyd star charged over royal riot

The son of Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour has been charged over the attack on Prince Charles' convoy during a student riot, a London court heard Friday.

Charlie Gilmour, 21, appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court charged with violent disorder during the attack.

A car carrying the heir to the throne and his wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall was attacked on December 9 last year as they made their way to a gala performance in London.

The incident happened after a major student protest outside parliament over university tuition fees.

Gilmour allegedly sat on the front of a car carrying royal protection officers which was in Charles and Camilla's three-car convoy.

He is also alleged to have thrown a rubbish bin at the convoy, hitting a car, but not the one containing the royals.

The Cambridge University history student did not enter a plea.

The case was adjourned until March 25.

Last December, as the government narrowly won a vote on plans to double the basic level of annual tuition fees at English universities, thousands of demonstrators protested and some went on the rampage.

Members of Parliament voted to raise the fees to 6,000 pounds (9,600 dollars, 7,100 euros), with an upper limit of 9,000 pounds, from next year.

David Gilmour married author and journalist Polly Samson in 1994, and adpoted her son Charlie.

Eric Clapton was quietly laid back in his SG concert; he came on stage with a black Tee and loose-fitting jeans. It was a thrilling two-hour performance although there was no "Tears in Heaven" (perhaps, the mood was meant to be more technical, instrumental rock and compositional; there was less vocals too). The surprise - many songs were performed 'live' with great extended outro.
