MJ considered FM, one of the greatest. FM said that "Queen" (his rock group) concerts are like Cecil B DeMille's productions - lavish, rich and have audiences eating out of their palms. Being ever competitive, MJ was determined to outdo all the greats. He had audiences standing on their feet. No one sits down at his concerts.

Mercury released "There Must be More to Life than This" in his album "Mr Bad Guy" in 1985.
Jackson released "Bad" in 1987. Despite the little formal education he had, Jackson had learnt well.
