pepper, which part of China did your forebears come from? I understand from my parents that (at least one of) my grandparents came from here:

pai-seh, i m not sure. All i know is papabear is teochew and comes from M'sia, my mamabear is adopted (by a teochew family). When i visit my parents, i will chk w. them where my gong-gong and mah-mah bears are from.

Actually, when I was last in Bali, there were a lot of Caucasians that were sunbathing in the nude. I was really surprised...

I think it was somewhere in Sanur ..
