7 Secrets of the Richest Man in Town by Craig Ballantyne

Amazon makes a lot of money off me with all of the books I buy, but it is always money well spent. I recently read a great business book, “The Richest Man in Town” (RMIT).

In RMIT, the author interviews the richest person in 50 of America’s largest cities, and they give a no-fluff account of the traits that allowed them to get incredibly wealthy.

They include…

1) Owning their own business (“stop working for the man as soon as you can”, they all said)

2) Working a lot (at least 60 hours per week)

3) Focusing on VALUE creation, not making money

4) Focusing on their unique talents and abilities and delegating everything else

5) Partnering only with those who bring something critical to the table

6) Getting addicted to ambition

7) Persistence. Never giving up. In fact, most of them believe that persistence is the ONLY reason they have gotten farther ahead in life than other people.

Not talent.

Not luck.

But simple persistence.

And I believe it.

Millionaires aren’t overnight success stories. They are years in the making.

Start now and never give up.

Vantage Points

You are perceptual beings with different vantage points and — it does not matter how much information is given — you cannot see beyond the vibrational limits of where you are standing.

You cannot live or see or experience outside of your own individual beliefs.

Desires and beliefs are just thoughts and thoughts.

"Ask and it is given?" You ask through your wanting. You ask through your desire. That thing you call desire. That's the asking.

You don't have to use your words. You just have to feel it in your being — that spark of desire.

"I desire this. I want this. I adore this. I embrace this. I appreciate this. I..."

That desire is the beginning of all attraction. The desire is what puts the eternalness in eternity.

There are no happier people on this planet than those who decide that they want something, define what they want, get hold of the feeling of it even before it's manifestation and then joyously watch the unfolding as, piece by piece by piece, it begins to unfold.

That's the feeling of your hands in the clay.

People say, "The joy is in the journey," but they rarely understand what they are saying.

You are in this focused time/space reality, with goals and objectives that call you because as you identify a desire it literally summons life through you.

Life summoning through you is what it's all about —it's not the completion of anything.

Get out into the sunlight — out where everything is — with a vibration that is so dominant that those who annoy you; those who don't agree with you; those who make your life feel uncomfortable don't come into your experience,

because your vibration — through your practice — has become so clear, so pure, so clean, so in keeping with what you want, that the world that revolves around you just feels like that.

That's what you planned.

Law of Attraction says, "That which is like unto itself is drawn."
Vibrations are always matched.

So, as you experience the contrast which inspires the new desire, this new desire, whether it is a strong one or a soft one, is summoning unto itself proportionately.

And as it summons, it is always answered. It is the basis of our Universe: When it is asked, it is always given.

Humans think they are asking with their words, or even with their action — and sometimes you are — but the Universe is not responding to your words or your action.

The Universe is responding to your vibrational calling.

Your Imagination

Your ability to imagine will help the next logical steps come to you faster.

Work the bugs out in your imagination. You don't have to build little things and bigger things.

You can do it all in your mind. We're not talking about the next logical action step.

Use your imagination until your big dream feels so familiar that the manifestation is the next logical step.
