Wow, I think he is really cool. I give him 90/100.

Nice video Lena. I read on that video that he did it at the end of his shift and had raised over £600 for the RSPCA. :D

For MM,
Snowball the cockatoo from a Bird Rescue Centre pays his tribute to Michael Jackson :D :D
The sulphur-crested cockatoo does awesome sideway shakes, leg-ups. The real McCoy would love this bird to bits:

Michael Snowball, the Billie Jean cuckatoo

For iam802,
Being appreciative of classical music, I think you will enjoy Billie Jean on the double bass. :D :D
Yes, this Israeli musician does the unbelieveably delightful number on the double bass. He's got his pet cat with him.

So often Jackson referred to the likes of James Brown, Diana Ross, Charlie Chaplin etc as the 'greats' whom he would study to advance his musical career. In this thread, I wanna highlight those whom, as far as I can recall, were almost never mentioned by him in interviews. Freddie Mercury and Marcel Marceau were 2 of these greats:
Image

Their influences on him were very obvious in his dance and stage choreography. He would critizice his brothers for :-
(a) moaning, groaning and complaining whilst he would watch, study and think abt the greats.
(b) going for the best jokes or the girls.
In the meantime, he would 'get into the anatomy', dissect and dissect (these are his own words).
First recipe : "Study the great and be greater"
2nd recipe : "Get into the anatomy. Be a scientist. Dissect. Dissect"
3rd recipe : Akan Datang. Next Change

These vidoes are for Poland and Aspellian:-
(a) Don't Walk Away

(b) Glove Tracking Project : MJ's Glove performs
Watch out for MJ's glove. It's always the centrepiece of the video.

I have ordered 2 copies of KrakenOpus books on Michael Jackson. Jackson agreed to the Opus books before his death.

Read IHT,NYT's 2day's article abt it : "Better Than Captain Eo: New Michael Jackson Book Features Web-Video Tricks":-

Mojo, Thank Q Q :D :D

Latest video clip from "This Is It". Jackson was obviously in charge and the show would have included, in Kenny Ortega's words, the world's biggest 3D Lewis Hine-inspired setting:-
I gotta cue that

The new reprint of MJ's autobiography "MoonWalk" also included this tribute to Thomas Edison who invented the lightbulb and phonography (and hence made music recording possible):-
'When I want to discover something, I begin by reading up everything that has been done along that line in the past -- that's what all the books in the library are for. I see what has been accomplished at great labor and expense in the past. I gather the data of many thousands more. The three essentials to achieve anything worthwile are, first, hard work; second, stick-to-it-iveness; third, common sense'

Reprints of MoonWalk has a new intro by Berry Gordy, the owner of Motown. He wrote this abt MJ:-
Offstage he was shy, soft-spoken, and child-like.
But when he took that stage in front of his screaming fans, he turned into another personality; a master, a
"take no prisoners" showman. For him it was kill or be killed.

MJ growling:-

In 1987, Jackon visited ZhongShan, Southern China:-

His Chinese guide then has emigrated to the US and settled in Maryland.

Jackson was imprisoned by his fame and here's a good video tribute :-
