Bought a copy of the following. Time has produced a great tribute to MJ.
The fotos are so memorably beautiful.
His music has brought me bundles of joy. I suppose this copy goes into my personal 'time' capsule.

Music & Songs (Nov08 - Aug09)

It's been a long long hiatus since I last watched MJ's Billie Jean. This morning, I dug into youtube and found this overwhelmingly awesome performance in Bucharest. I guarantee your eyes will pop :-

Michael Jackson - King of Pop

Postby LenaHuat » Thu Jul 02, 2009 9:04 am

I've decided to creat a thread on MJ, the King of Pop. Not MJ, the king of the basketball court.
Being of the same cohort, I do have a soft spot for this soft-spoken guy. He is extremely fascinating research matter, especially for those who are doing sociology and info-com media studies.

I've always thought this guy is very smart albeit emotionally underdeveloped. But he's smart.
His lawyers have filed his will in the LA courts and true to a "less -talked -about rumour", his assets are in the Michael Jackson Family Trust. It very likely to be of a 'protective' nature that creditors won't be able to lay their hands on.

Many people think that trusts are expensive. But they are no longer so for a reasonably wealthy person.
I'm awaiting to hear more abt MJ's will. I think they are good takeaways from it.

Dear Administrators, pl delete this thread once if had served its purpose :D .

off the wall was the best and also thriller. they are planning a muslim burial for him. muslim laws prohibits his assets being inherited to non-muslims (were his children converted?) and i wonder if the muslim authorities will stamp their law on this one.

Those of you who have MTV channel, they are doing a countdown of the TOP 40 most popular sound from MJ.

I recorded it and now am at No. 31 - In The Closet :D while surfing the web.

Listening to all these sounds brought back all those memories...

Since it is on MTV, there should be countless repeats in the days to come. Watch for it :D

I'm impressed with the speed that the organizers are rushing out those memorial tickets. We should take a leaf from them. In addition, I see the hand of Katherine Jackson in these arrangements. It's a pair, comprising a purple ticket plus a golden handband. The holy codices are all written in golden letters on purple vellum. Katherine Jackson is a devout pious Jehovah's Witness, a Christian sect which is banned in Singapore.

So much for those rumours abt a muslim burial.

News are breaking out that MJ's scalp was bald probably the result of the 2nd and 3rd degree burnts he had suffered from the Pepsi ad. The veins on both of his arms were collapsed, likely caused by too many intraveneous injections. His body was sheet white. He also had boxes of prescription drugs flown in from London and Dubai.

A broken spirit in a ravaged body. May he RIP.

Hi MM
Thanks a million. I watched the memorial live on CNN. It was far too excruciatingly long but beautifully executed. Very dignified. I especially like the Gospel singers who commenced the proceedings.

Having now seen all of his 3 children, I'm more than convinced that both Prince and Paris are the biological children of Debbie and Dr Klein. Yesterday, Dr Klein appeared on ABCNEWs and said that "to his best knowledge, those children are not his". What does one make of that statement? He will apppear in 2day's Larry King Live at 5 pm (local time).

I wonder if this is what MJ did :
In the United States, a powerful medication called Benoquin, also known as monobenzene, can be used to treat extreme cases of vitiligo.

Health Library
MayoClinic.com: Vitiligo
"It's important to understand that this product actually removes pigment (not just lightens), which is more like being an albino," wrote Dr. Min-Wei Christine Lee, a cosmetic dermatologic surgeon and director of The East Bay Laser & Skin Care Center in Walnut Creek, California. "Caucasian skin still has pigment even though it's 'white' -- skin treated with Benoquin has no pigment."

The process, though painless, is so tedious and lengthy that most people use Benoquin only on the visible areas of their body, such as their face, neck and arms, Nordlund said. Side effects include irritated, dry or itchy skin, and the results are permanent.

The person applies the medication once a day, and it could take six months to two years to take away the coloring. Nordlund said he has heard of only one or two people who administered the ointment over their entire bodies; those processes took five to eight years.

It leaves the person extremely sensitive to the sun.

I'm intrigued by this because vitiligo also happens to animals, especially horses and cows.
