for trading...fine...for an investment long term, perhaps ok...but seriously, better for things to show some strength in upside before committing Long positions...my simple take...

note VIX is a touch to 30....not long to go....one day, maybe cheong up up and away to 35.... it's gonna catch shorts on the wrong side...soon..soon...maybe...

Bought Citi @ 24+, sold off @ 22+.

Bought UYG @ 33+, sold off @ 28+, bought @ 26+, sold @ 22+, waiting for the next entry point 12!.

Bought SKF @ 130+ still holding.

Just an example of a person trying to pick the bottom :lol:

Personally, i don't use chart in this kind of market :) . One black swan (bear stearns) could be a rare occurance, two is too much.

I totally agree with you on that. What I would like to see is hopefully C will drop to 10 when VIX touches 35-37.

i am not going to start a thread on WM


yesterday ishak brot up WM...and i recall the intraday low was $3...it's now almost $4...

now that 33% profit in ONE day....but of cos, it could as easily have been $2 now...
