thakral is proposing a cash distribution of 5 cents. It's a good time to buy now.

I'm a little concerned about where the cash for the distribution will be coming from. They need $130m for the exercise but only have $121m in holding with relatively little receivables. Is the sale of Gateway shares not reflected in the balance sheet or am I making a newbie mistake when reading the report?

I know next to nothing about Thakral but post this here because I wanna highlight that the expected IRR is around 20% for Australian residential property development:
Thakral Corporation is taking a bigger step into the real estate industry and plans to set up a joint venture (JV) for property investments.
The company is focusing on the residential sector in Sydney and Melbourne, Australia. It will be taking direct stakes in projects, and will also seek participation from other co-investors.
Thakral is eyeing projects with an internal rate of return of 15-25 per cent, and an investment horizon of one to three years.
Thakral plans to form a JV for its property investments, and it will hold a 51 per cent stake in it. The JV should be up by Q1 next year.
